Relient K

Relient K is an alternative/punk rock band formed in Canton, Ohio in 1998. Though associated with contemporary Christian music, the group achieved mainstream success in the mid-2000s, signing to Capitol Records in 2004 for the release of their fourth album "mmhmm" and going on to sell over 2 million records.

The band's core founding members are lead singer/guitarist and principal songwriter Matt Thiessen and guitarist Matt Hoopes. The band has only toured and recorded sporadically since 2017, but has never broken up or announced a formal hiatus.
