Albert Abesamis

Albert Abesamis is an accomplished actor celebrated across international and local independent film circuits. Albert won the Best Actor award at the 2020 Noida International Short Film Festival in India for his standout role in Ang Kaibigan Ni Imaginary F. His versatile portrayal of a drag performer in the short film Isang Jeep Pa garnered two major nominations: Best Lead Performance at the 2025 UP Pride Film Festival and Best Actor at Silangan Film Circle’s CineMandirigma 2026. His acting portfolio also includes celebrated titles like Igib (Cinemalaya 2020), Balai de Moño & Sa’n Elmo (both official entries to CCP Gawad Alternatibo 2026) and Mema (Virgin Labfest 2019), alongside the viral YouTube series Swaptest in 2021.
