With a career spanning decades, he has appeared in both classic and contemporary works, such as the films Terrorizers (1986), Secret Love in the Peach Blossom Land (1992), and Island of Greed (1997), as well as popular television series like The Qin Empire and The Sleuth of the Ming Dynasty. He has also been a key figure with the Godot Theater Company, starring in numerous stage productions.
