Natalia Chiarelli

Natalia Chiarelli is a prominent Uruguayan actress and drama teacher, a graduate of the Escuela Multidisciplinaria de Arte Dramático (EMAD) with additional training in lyric arts and contemporary dance, who joined the permanent cast of the Comedia Nacional by audition in 2012 after more than a decade in the independent theater circuit. Throughout her stage career, she has performed in major productions such as *The Oresteia*, *Cat on a Hot Tin Roof*, *Victor, or Power to the Children*, *An Enemy of the People*, and *The Threepenny Opera*, earning a Florencio Award in 2006 for her performance in *The Magic Flute* alongside numerous nominations; she has also built a screen career in films such as *In This Tricky Life* and *As Fragile as a Second*, highlighted internationally by the Fellini Award for Best Lead Actress at the 2019 Amarcort Film Festival in Italy for the short film *Bodas de oro*.
