Katayun Amir Ebrahimi

Katayun Amir Ebrahimi was an actress and singer who was born in Sanandaj, Iran. Her father worked for Iran's Foreign Ministry and her mother, an Azerbaijani from the city of Baku, was a sports teacher.She began her acting career with the film"Spiders Web" (1964) and was undoubtedly one of the larger pre-revolutionary figures of Iranian Film. Katayun, unfortunately dealing with breast cancer in recent years, has been left unable to act. She has two daughters, Nazi and Niloofar.
