Kate Smith

Kate Smith was an American contralto. Known as The First Lady of Radio, she was famed for her rendition of "God Bless America" (which in her later years she sang live for the Stanley Cup champion Philadelphia Flyers.) Beloved as the "Songbird of the South" she recorded dozens of albums and chart topping songs.
