Pilar Brescia

Pilar Brescia Álvarez (born December 15, 1957 in Lima) is a Peruvian actress, television presenter and businesswoman. She studied at the Club Teatro de Lima, while also completing her studies in Communication Sciences at the University of Lima.

Pilar began her career in television hosting the children's program "Pilar, sus amiguitos y la moda" (1968) on Channel 9. In 1984 she landed the lead role in the soap opera "Páginas de la vida", playing the character of María del Pilar. In 2008 she acted in the soap opera "La pre", and the following year in the film "Dioses". In 2011 she participated in the soap opera "La Perricholi".
