Le gardian (1921)

Nivoulas is the leader of a group of "gardians" (cowherds) in Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer. His brother Mazar is engaged to Fanette, an orphan. After the bull run celebrating their engagement, they meet up at a café terrace. Lucie, a flirtatious waitress from the city, captivates Mazar.
