Philbert (Three's a Crowd) (1963)

Cartoonist Griff, creator of comic character Philbert, is planning to marry his girlfriend Angela. However, Philbert himself catches wind of this, and leaps off the page as a six-inch-tall animated character to put a stop to his syndicate-signed sir's happy plans.
