Breakers or Stolen Happiness (1912)

Annie falls in love with baron Crona. However - rumors say Crona is terrible with money, and Annie's father, the consul, denies the baron's request to marry Annie. To be able to live together, the couple flees Sweden for Europe, where the rumors are proven more than true.
