Manuel, convicted several times for fraud, relapses during his probationary period. His girlfriend Sylvia threatens to leave him if he doesn't finish his rogueries. Dieter has almost completely retired from social life after the accidental death of his wife and lives only for his bar PLANTER'S CLUB. In the back room of the bar, the gambling addict Frank is ripped off by Manuel. After a brawl, the policemen called in arrest the two of them.
