Italy, 1940, dawn of the Second World War. A small group of fascists cook up a scheme to avoid the forthcoming call to arms. In order to do so, they sign up a contract where they accept to be infected with a mysterious and lethal disease: the Ethiopian Fever.
Regardless Dr. Suardo's reassurances, who is sure to know how to cure the African disease, a chain of events is going to be triggered, which will lead to a gruesome bloodspread.
